Wow, I really agree with all LVeR's placements. They definitely deserve nods for Actress, Sound, Music, Makeup/Hair, Production Design, Costumes, and Cinematography. The screenplay could've been better, I think.

And all the Once love is awesome! I KNEW that the BAFTAs would be very kind to that great little film!

Though I have to say I'm a little surprised at Brenda Blethyn's inclusion...she's great, but she didn't really do anything in Atonement, did she?

Scratching me head about Blethyn, too. I was watching "Atonement" last night (on youtube, no less!) and remembered how good she was in it, and that had her role been bigger, she would have probably received award consideration. But, as it stands, she's in the film for like 3 minutes (if that!).

I mean, her only scene of any consequence is screaming about Robbie's imprisonment, which lasts for...what, thirty seconds? A minute?

I mean, Jennifer Garner should be there for sure. I would've liked to have seen Sylvie Testud or Emmanuelle Seigner for LVeR as well. Blethyn is just kind of there.
